Studio K Flamenco offers learning opportunities for all ages in Milwaukee. Artistic Director Kerensa DeMars has over twenty years of experience in dance instruction. Her classes are bilingual and bring a spirit of joy and community to the learning process. Learn more about current programs below.

THURSDAYS at BEMBE DRUM & DANCE 611 S Layton Blvd Milwaukee (Six week sessions 9/3 - 10/8 and 10/15 - 11/19)

FLAMENCO LEVEL ONE: 5:55 - 7:05pm The first half of this class will focus on FLAMENCO BASICS, foundational technique for all levels. The second half of class combines level one and two for a series of combinations appropriate to all levels. Each six week session will focus on a different Flamenco ‘palo’ and rhythmic style. FLAMENCO LEVEL TWO: 6:20 - 7:30pm The first half of this class will be combined with level one for a series of combinations. The second half will focus on intermediate technique (footwork drills, combinations). Highly recommended for all dancers in level two to take the level one class as a warm-up and to work on foundational technique. Learn more and sign up HERE ››››
WEDNESDAY WORKSHOP FOR INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED DANCERS in Bay View: This series will focus on performance skills. Each three week series will cover a different style (bulerías, tangos, sevillanas with props: castanets/fan/mantón). Class space is limited to six dancers. Wednesdays 6:20-7:30 Sept 16 - 30th. SEVILLANA SUNDAYS! NEXT CLASS SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 20TH 1-3PM - A one day workshop to learn the partner dance from Andalucia. Take one hour for $20 or both hours for $30 payable. Learn more and sign up HERE››››
