2026 Student Show Info Page
Date/Time/Location: Saturday May 30th 5:00pm at Casa Bembe 611 S Layton Blvd Milwaukee
Doors open to the public at 4:30. Adult students should arrive by 4:00 to get into costume before doors open. Kids can arrive at 4:15. The lower studio will be used as a dressing room.
Admission fee is a suggested donation of $5 to cover the cost of the studio, children are free.
If you would like to volunteer to help please let Kerensa know - we would like to have a greeter or two, someone to sell tshirts, someone to take photos and a dressing room helper!

Costumes for Kids: Class skirts with Studio K tshirts (we will provide before the performance) and hair flowers (we will provide)
Costumes For Adults: this is an informal ‘tablao’ style performance. In these types of shows, dancers usually wear a skirt/top combo with or without a small shawl, a pants/vest/shirt combo or a dress. We will have costumes items for sale before and after class later in April.
Accessories: hair flowers and combs can be added using bobby pins or flat barrettes to keep them stable (pro tip: try doing a couple of fast turns to make sure your flowers don’t go flying!) Big colorful earrings are a good choice, make sure they are comfortable and not too heavy - try dancing with all accessories BEFORE you perform.
