Join us for a screening of 'La Singla' - a documentary film about one of Flamenco's most iconic dancers, who became an international phenomenon only to disappear at the height of her popularity. La Singla's story is even more dramatic because she was born with significant hearing loss and created her dances relying on her internal rhythm, developing a powerful, personal style.
Location: Marquette University 733 N 12th St, Milwaukee Room 216
Run time 1 hour 30 minutes.
Discussion with Studio K Flamenco’s Artistic Director will follow the film.
